Transport within Wimbledon

Wimbledon benefits from excellent transport links, with a tube, tram, bus and train, it also links to the A3, so Surrey is easily accessible. If you regularly fly for work or leisure, Gatwick Airport and Heathrow Airport are both close by.

From Wimbledon train station it is very quick and easy to get to Clapham Junction, a mere ten minutes away, and also to Waterloo. The tram from Wimbledon runs to Croydon. The District Line runs from Wimbledon Station to the City centre but it is quicker to take the Northern Line from South Wimbledon Station, where it takes approximately thirty minutes to the West End and the City.

There are two stations in Wimbledon, both within walking distance of one another by roughly 15-20 minutes, Wimbledon Station and South Wimbledon Station.  There are two night bus services, which are very regular and run all night back and forward to the centre, these are the N87 and N155.
