Transport Within Romford

The A12 that runs from Great Yarmouth to London is close by, and the M25 is in close vicinity. You can reach Liverpool Street in central London in 30 minutes. Romford’s train stations are all in Zone 6, with the tube stations in Zone 5 and 6. There are a number of taxis ranks in the area, including Kilo cars taxis. There are plans to make the walkways and cycle paths throughout the residential area more accessible in the future.
Romford Stations and Bus Services
There are a number of train stations in and around Romford and these include Chadwell Heath, Dagenham Dock, Gidea Park, Harold Wood, Purfleet, Romford, Tilbury Town and Upminster. Tube stations in the area include Becontree, Dagenham East and Dagenham Heathway, Barking, Elm Park, Hornchurch and Upminster; these are all serviced by the district line.
The following number buses service Romford: Routes 5, 248, 370, 647 and N15 terminate at Romford Market, and routes 66, 86, 128, 247, 296, 347, 375, 575, 647, 651 and 674 terminate at Romford Station. There are other routes that also pass through this area.
