There are two premier league clubs in Fulham, Fulham FC based on the banks of the Thames and Chelsea FC, at Stamford Bridge, near Fulham Road. Alongside football Fulham is home to the Hurlingham Park Club, where one can enjoy sports activities such as polo, tennis, netball and football, for children there is also playgrounds.
Bishops Park is very picturesque with a man made beach, it is located close to Fulham Palace, a grade I listed building. Fulham Palace is host to regular garden walks and monthly tours of the grounds. For great restaurants, bars and shops you can find some lovely places near Eel Brook Common.

For award winning gastro pub food ‘The Malt House’ is the place to go, another gastro pub worthy of note is ‘The Brown Cow’. If you are looking for a good, hearty breakfast, ‘River Café’ an old fashioned café is a short walk away.
For meat lovers head to ‘The Harwood Arms’ who specialise in game, which has previously received a Michelin star. Fulham is also home to ‘Marco Grill’, a steakhouse owed by the renowned chef Marco Pierre White. For Thai, both ‘Blue Elephant’ and ‘Sukho’ are always busy.
If you are looking for somewhere to enjoy a drink, ‘Amuse Bouche’ is a lovely champagne bar, ‘Vagabond Wine’ offers a selection of over one hundred bottles of wine and ‘The White Horse’ is great for a good selection of beers.
