From Ealing you can catch a mainline train to Paddington, which you can reach within a matter of 10 minutes, the West End is also only 30 minutes away on the tube. Ealing is serviced by the district and central lines at Ealing Broadway, the Piccadilly line services Ealing Common and South Ealing. Ealing is within Zone 3 and you are always in short walking distance to an underground station. There is also good access to the M4, M25 and M40 motorways.
